The best long-term outcomes for children with autism are achieved when treating the “whole” child.

Our Mission

Spectrum House’s mission is to provide children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) comprehensive, evidence- based treatment through Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Spectrum House is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for our children and families. Our commitment in the delivery of services is to act with compassion, work from a team approach, and provide what is in the best interest of every child and family. We best serve you through the combination of ABA with positive behavioral strategies. Our goal for each child is a more effective, independent and improved quality of life by enabling children with ASD to reach their highest potential in a setting where they feel valued for who they are, safe in their surroundings, and confident in their attempts to excel. To this end, we are committed to providing our professional staff with the highest level of training and supervision consistent with the cutting-edge technology and information of our field.

Spectrum House professionals use research-based techniques to assist each child in developing their fullest potential, while maximizing opportunities to become self-sufficient, productive members of society.

Spectrum House professionals believe that the best long-term outcomes for children with autism are achieved when treating the “whole” child; therefore, we embrace a “holistic” approach to serving children. Spectrum House professionals also believe that scientifically validated techniques derived from the science of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), in addition to “best practices” from the field of special education are critical in remediation of deficits in all relevant domains of functioning, including: communication, language, social skills, life-skills, fine and gross motor skills, self-help skills, play skills and academics. Our staff is passionate about the field of ABA and look forward to seeing how ABA practices influence the growth of children on the spectrum. We are continually evaluating our work and determining areas of growth and improvement. We have created an environment in which all employees at any level feel heard and respected. We encourage all of our staff to be creative when developing programs that will benefit both the client and the family. Spectrum House prides itself in creating and maintaining a friendly, supportive environment in which our employees are innovative and collaborative and always looking for new ways to make ABA therapy fun and exciting. From the beginning it has been our goal to establish a strong, communication-driven culture. We have maintained our unique organizational culture that contributes to the success of our employees, our clients, and the programs we implement.

While it is imperative that children with autism receive sound, effective, research-based, individualized programming from trained professionals, Spectrum House recognizes that parents are central to the learning process, and ultimately to the child’s success. Spectrum House will maintain an open-door policy with each child’s family at all times, and always welcomes parent input and value their expertise as the child’s first and best teacher.

Spectrum House recognizes the diversity of children on the spectrum. For this reason, we strive to maintain a positive organizational climate in which our clients feel safe and cared for at all times. We acknowledge that our clients will have good days and bad. Therefore, we take one day at a time and strive for a better day the next day. Our families know we are committed to their well-being and individual needs. We pride our clinics specifically on ensuring a well-rounded approach is actively occurring within school, home, and all aspects of life.
